If so here’s your chance to win a trip to film a WFP School Feeding project in a developing country. FightHunger: Walk the World is looking for an upbeat viral video that spreads the word about ending child hunger by 2015 – which would achieve the first Millennium Development Goal. The winning video will be used by Fight Hunger: Walk the World in our media campaign to end child hunger by 2015.

Quiero tomar esta oportunidad para contarles acerca de Fight Hunger - Walk the World, El Mundo en Marcha contra el Hambre, un evento anual dedicado a reunir fondos, pero sobre todo a crear conciencia acerca del problema del hambre infantil, incentivando a la vez a las personas y a los líderes mundiales para que jueguen un rol más activo y eficaz frente a esta lucha. Nuestra meta, eliminar el hambre infantil en el mundo hacia el año 2015, tiene como base el 1er Objetivo de Desarrollo del Milenio.

El 21 de Mayo del 2006, Marcharemos por el Mundo una vez más!

Si te gustaría unirte a esta lucha, hay muchas cosas que puedes hacer. Desde participar en una Marcha, hasta organizar una tú mismo(a)o simplemente ir a nuestra página y mandarle una de nuestras tarjetas electrónicas a alguien especial, a través de la cual estarías alimentando a un niño.

Este año en Junio, 201,000 personas marcharon por el mundo entero. Para el 2006, queremos que sean casi un millón o más... imagínate todo lo que se puede hacer!

Dear everybody,

I want to take this space to let you know about Fight Hunger - Walk the World, an annual call to action aimed to raise funds but mostly awareness about the child hunger issue, encouraging people and world leaders to have a more active and effective role in this fight. Our goal, in accordance to MDG1, is to end child hunger by 2015.

On May 21, 2006, we will be Walking the World once more!

And there's plenty you can do if you'd like to join our fight. From participating in a Walk, to organising one yourself or just dropping by our site and feeding a child by sending someone special one of our e-cards. You chose!

This year 201,00 people walked in June, next year we want to be a million or even more... imagine all we can do!
